FIREPLACE FARM IS AN ORGANIC FARM GROWING AN ARRAY OF FRUITS, VEGETABLES, FLOWERS AND HERBS, COMPLETE WITH CHICKENS AND HONEY BEE HIVES.

Children who are three or older and younger than 10 by June 1 are eligible for enrollment.
Children should be accustomed to drop-off programs and independent in the bathroom to enroll.
This program includes work on the farm, creative play and lots of opportunity for songs, cooperative games and artistic activities. Your child will explore, harvest vegetables, weed, plant, feed chickens, gather eggs, dig, play, sing, make art and more! A hearty, healthy, organic-when-possible snack, which comes mostly from the farm itself, is provided daily.
Experienced Waldorf educators carefully guide this this mixed-age program, ensuring each child is met with satisfying activities appropriate to his/her level of development. Mixed-age groupings offer an intimate, family-like setting, in which social learning, including cooperation, empathy, and problem-solving, can flourish.
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT OF TUITION
In order to enroll, you must submit a 50% deposit. Below are two options: payment in full or payment of 50% deposit. PLEASE NOTE:
Fill out multiple forms when registering more than one child (refresh page to get new form).
When enrolling more than one child from your family: use promo code "sibling" upon check out to receive the sibling discount.
When enrolling a student from an OSDS year-round, drop-off program: use promo code "student" upon check out to receive the OSDS discount.
When enrolling more than one child from your family AND a year round OSDS student: use the code “siblingOSDS” to receive both discounts.
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING: Counselors-in-Training (CITs) are children ages 11 - 13, typically former OSDS campers, who have a positive attitude and enjoy younger children, being helpful and being outdoors. Tuition for CITs is $275/ week. Email Maggie if you are interested in enrolling your child as a CIT.
This program is exclusively outdoors, rain or shine. In the event of unexpected, serious weather, camp will move to the barn. In the case of extremely inclement weather, camp will be cancelled. Parents will be notified by email by 7.30 AM if camp needs to be cancelled for the day due to weather. Make up days will be offered on Mondays of the following week.
CAMPER ENROLLMENT DETAILS
50% tuition deposit is due at the time of registration to reserve your child's place. The remaining balance of tuition is due July 1. If enrollment is cancelled before May 1 the tuition deposit will be refunded, less a $250 administrative fee. There are no refunds if enrollment is cancelled after May 1 or if your child is withdrawn, expelled, suspended or does not attend Our Sons and Daughters Summer Camp for any reason. No refunds will be granted due to sickness or other absence.

Each week comprises a four day camp session.
(Tuesday - Friday). Camp hours are 9 - noon.

Current or past families of children enrolled in OSDS year-round drop-off programs receive a 25% discount.
